The Southeast Warren Warhawks hit the road January 19, 2012 to wrestle the Roadrunners in inter-conference competition. Seven open matches in favor of Interstate, pins from juniors Ethan Jones and Mitch Vipond, a major decision from senior Zach Hutton, and a one point decision from Tanner Findley led the Roadrunners won step closer to a conference championship.
Two days later, the Roadrunners hosted the Rich Gray Classic. Junior Tommy Bregar was the Roadrunners only champion. Ethan Jones placed third, Tyler Lester and Lonnie Harper both placed fourth, and senior Todd Graham placed fifth. As a team the Roadrunners placed fourth at a tough tournament.
Interstate will travel to Guthrie Center Saturday for another tough tournament.
